I spent this week analyzing the price points of Single Family Homes in Breckenridge between 2015 and 2016. The truth is, if you’re looking to invest in Real Estate, NOW IS THE TIME. (of course I’m supposed to say that right?)
If you look at the gross sales volume, the transactions YTD, and the average price of Single Family Homes over the last 9 years, we are on a clear uptick right now. Between 2015 and 2016 we’ve seen a 7% increase in the price of Single Family Homes with no end in sight.
Remember, Colorado has a track record when it comes to homes in resort areas. Aspen, being the highest property value, started this uptick in the 80’s and 90’s. Telluride started in the 90’s, and people who were on the sidelines wondering when to get in the market, are now kicking themselves. If the graphs ring true, Summit County is prepped to become one of the best investment opportunities in resort areas.
